Established in 1986, Pacific Standard Specialties, Inc. is a custom toll blender of chemical formulations and a primary manufacturer of water treating polymers and slow dissolving polyphosphate products.
   
  Pacific Standard Specialties, Inc. (PSS) is a wholly owned and independently operated corporation.  Thomas Thomson, Ph.D., directs the company's research and development department.
   
  We are proud to service some of the major water treating companies and mining/drilling operations in the country, and we have over fifteen years experience in solving water-treating problems and the formulation of specialty products.

Pacific Standard Specialties’ slowly soluble polyphosphate, SLOW PHOS, is certified by NSF as compliant with EU Directive 2002/95 EC on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS). Existing certifications under NSF Standard 42 and Standard 60 allow SLOW PHOS to be included in your product offerings with confidence of safety and performance.

Our newly developed Polycol-SHP is providing our customers with outstanding corrosion protection. Users are experiencing radically reduced corrosion rates of < 1 mpy, and copper is 0.03 – 0.08 mpy.
